The VW Golf mk7/7.5 R, GTI Clubsport, Mk8 GTI & REBC GD Series Discs are a replacement disc which will perform better over the OEM disc/rotor. The rotors are made from high-quality grey iron and undergo rigorous quality control and extensive testing. The dimples in the rotor offer degassing without the concern of cracking like other drill through designs. The full sweeping slots on the face of the rotor help remove dirt, dust, debris and water from the braking area ensuring an optimal braking surface. EBC Brakes produces all of its GD series and USR discs with a long lasting corrosion resistant finish. The coating is either the world-famous thermic black which protects the off-brake areas of the rotor from corrosion such as inside the pad swept area and inside the hub.
