Vehicle manufacturer warranty and emissions disclaimer
Some items used and/or sold by Karter Performance may void portions of your vehicle’s factory warranty. Some items may not be legal for “on highway use”. Karter Performance makes no guarantees to the legality of any parts used for “on highway vehicles” and accepts no responsibility for compliance with the vehicle’s factory warranty.
Karter Performance Product Returns after 30 days
From 31 to 60 days after purchase, Karter Performance will allow product returns of Karter Performance branded products on a case-by-case basis. Returns during this time frame may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 30%. No returns will be permitted later than 60 days from the date that the item is delivered. Non-Karter product information
Products sold by Karter Performance but are not manufactured by Karter Performance (have no Karter branding) are covered only by the warranty of the manufacturer. Karter Performance can help coordinate returns, exchanges, or warranty claims of these products per the terms of that manufacturer’s policies. Karter Performance may accept returns of non-Karter Performance branded products on a case-by-case basis. In these rare cases, a 25-80% restocking fee may apply, at the discretion of Karter Performance.
Karter Performance component limited warranty
Karter Performance cc warrants to the original retail purchaser that all components manufactured by Karter Performance, or sold under the Karter brand, and purchased directly from Karter Performance or from an Authorized Karter Performance dealer hold a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship (“Limited Warranty”). This Limited Warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser of the component. This Limited Warranty is intended to cover components only when they are used in the manner for which they were originally designed. This Limited Warranty is void on all products found to have been used in racing or off-road applications, of any nature whatsoever, and on all products that show evidence of abuse, lack of proper maintenance, improper installation, misapplication, alteration in any way whatsoever from their original design or negligence in the use of Karter Performance products. This Limited Warranty does not cover normal maintenance or wear items such as belts, brake pad material, clutch disc friction material, and brake discs. Karter Performance accepts no responsibility for any special, incidental, or consequential damages or costs or grievances incurred by failure of a Karter Performance component, including but not limited to labour and shipping costs. All implied warranties shall be limited in duration to the said 12-month warranty period and shall be limited to the express terms and provisions of this Limited Warranty.
Shipping errors and damaged shipments
When receiving a shipment, please inspect packages immediately in the presence of the delivery person. Damage claims must be made with the freight carrier within 3 (three) days of receiving items. Karter Performance is not responsible for any damages incurred in transit. If you receive an incorrect item due to our error we will issue a shipping label at no charge. Correct components will be reshipped via our selected courier company and you will only be charged for the parts where necessary. When incorrect parts are received, we will issue a credit. You have 7 days from the date of receiving the shipment to make a claim. No claims made after this time frame will be honoured.
International orders, shipments, duties and taxes
Karter Performance will gladly support your international order. Please note that an international order is subject to duties, taxes, and/or tariffs as levied by either the shipper, the South African government, or your own governing bodies. Karter Performance will not pay, refund, or compensate for these charges. Duties, taxes, and tariffs are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Any cost incurred by Karter Performance due to unpaid fees or refused packages will be charged to the purchaser.
