Description

The Hyundai i30N Xtreme Clutch Kit (stage 2) – KHD24631-1R by Karter Performance is an aftermarket clutch kit that is designed to handle more torque than the OEM system for your i30N.

The Hyundai i30N Xtreme Clutch kit (stage 2) comes complete with a single mass flywheel, alloy pressure plate, sprung ceramic clutch disc, pressure plate bolts and flywheel bolts as well as a new concentric slave cylinder.
The new upgrade results in a 65% increase in clamping force and a 910Nm torque capacity (flywheel rated). This is their stage 2 kit and may not be suitable for daily traffic due to the ceramic disc becoming ‘sticky’ after continuous clutch use in traffic due to heat, this only affects some drivers. Your peak torque the motor will produce (with the planned modifications) should be factored into your choice when deciding which clutch kit to go with.

**Stage 2 is referring to the options within their clutch range and is not related to what ‘stage’ your vehicle is at. Your choice is made based on torque output (on the flywheel) and what type of driving you’re doing.

This clutch kit is recommended for track use and high-performance street use.
The i30N performance kits have been engineered to allow the reduced inertia to work in harmony with auto rev-matching. The 240mm single plate organic kits have a reduction of 25% in mass and a 40% increase in torque holding abilities for extreme performance enhancement on the street or track.
