Friction Material
- Organic:
- This is the best option for street-use vehicles as it retains the OEM drivability. This material can withstand slightly higher heat and can be used for the occasional drag racing/launch within reason.
- Ceramic:
- This material is designed for higher heat ranges and can take more abuse. It is still streetable although not recommended for a daily driven car (in traffic). This material would have a narrower ‘slip ratio’ where the clutch is disengaged vs fully engaged as if it would have a more aggressive ‘bite’.

- Carbon:
- The highest temperature range and for motorsport use only.
Rigid vs Sprung
- As the Xtreme Twin-Plate kit utilises a lightweight single-mass Flywheel it creates a direct link to the gearbox. For those who want a clutch with a bit more lenience from driver error, a sprung kit would be suggested. The OEM clutch kit makes use of a dual-mass flywheel which has springs (think shock absorbers) on the flywheel dampening the engagement of the clutch friction material. This allows for quieter and smoother operation.
**Note: Due to this being a single mass flywheel, some noise (chatter) and vibration is expected.
